Show me the money

Guess who's got pesos? Now I think I have just about everything I need for my trip. I'm still a little anxious about going.

I got my letter from the Watchtower Branch telling where I can find an English congregation in Cuernavaca. I really wanted to go to the spanish speaking congregation, but I think that going to the English congregation will be good for me. This way I can understand the information.

Anyway, I wanted to pack my stuff, but it seems too soon. I just want to rest this week. I got my room cleaned and now I just want to sleep. I keep trying to sleep late, but keep waking up early. It's probably just as well.

And yes, I did eat my yogurt today.

Yogurt

I can understand the reason why I have to eat yogurt on a daily basis. It will build up my immune system before I go to Mexico. But after eating it for a week, I am tired of it!

Getting ready

I don't remember if getting ready for Mexico the last two times was so daunting. I mean, I know that I am much better prepared this time. But I'm still a tiny bit overwhelmed with the thought of leaving.

I am definitely looking forward to having some time off from work, even though I know that I'll end up doing some work any way. But to have a mini-sabbatical will definitely provide me with a new prospective as I enter this new phase in my life... a life without classes.

I have been going to school for seven years and now, after much begging and pleading from my family, I have decided to take a break; a much needed break.

I'll be leaving for Mexico on January 7, 2005. Check back daily for all the happenings in Cuernavaca!
